IMAX Corporation and Twentieth Century Fox today announced that The Day The Earth Stood Still, directed by Scott Dickerson and starring Keanu Reeves, Jennifer Connelly, Kathy Bates, John Cleese and Jaden Smith, will be simultaneously released to both IMAX and conventional theatres on December 12, 2008.
