On Monday, May 26, 2008, Variety announced that Ewan McGregor will co-star in Amelia, a forthcoming biopic of famous female pilot Amelia Earhart. McGregor joins a cast that includes Hilary Swank as Earhart, as well as Richard Gere and Virginia Madsen. The film is to be directed by Mira Nair, who previously helmed The Namesake. (read more)
