You'll believe Dakota is in South Carolina and bees make treacle after this hokey Oprah movie of the week. Dakota Fanning narrates how she went on the run with Jennifer Hudson through bigoted South Carolina while Martin Luther King was a-signin' the Civil Rights Act. They're taken in by Queen Latifah, who makes the darnedest honey in the county and lives with her sisters, right-on Alicia Keys and Sophie Okonedo, who's a bit simple but makes delicious sweet potato cakes. They all live in a garish pink house but, as I learnt, 'the colour of a house don't matter, it's what's inside a person's heart'. Oh dear. Drama (read more)
