I am a great fan of Loose Woman and have sung with Jane McDonald in the Sing Live Choir.

We sang a song written for her mum called The Hand that Leads Me and I can't find the music anywhere. I would love my small singing group to be able to sing it in church on mothering Sunday. Has Jane kept this one for herself or is it available. I'd love to know.

Talking about "boring". Quite like Andrea, but her "tales"are rather long winded and boring, sorry. Kaye Adams is still the best anchor women you have had on the show. Her wit and intellect far outshines all others. Is she coming back anytime. Love the show

this is to janet street porter, you want to know how to make money i can tell you how.....YOU STEAL, i wrote the first mag format, this was called RAW MATERIAL, but you called it network 7 i know you know john blackman, jane hewland knows john blackman so do you. i also interested david bowie in this project, all this i can prove. i still have the paperwork in my own hand writting this is fact amd signed documents to back up all i am stateing, not only this, Wolfe shildens office delt with this through a wonderful man named as mow i will say that i was introduced to this company by KEITH EVANS WHOM WAS THE HEAD OF GRAYS INN. I FEEL AFFENDED THAT NOT ONLY WAS I DESTROYED BY THIS BUT MY BIG QUESTION IS WHY..WHY..WHY.. WHEN THE IDEA WAS NOT YOURS AND YOU DID NOT CARE WHERE THE IDEA CAME FROM. COME DOWN TO EARTH AND TALK TO ME AND MAYBE YOU SHOULD TALK TO JOHN BLACKMAN before and see where th idea came from FOR MAYBE HE IS THE BAD ONE AND YOU ONLY TOOK IT, BUT PLEASE THINK ABOUT ALL YOU ARE READING IT IS TRUE AND THE REASON I DID NOT TAKE THE MATTER FURTHER WAS BECAUSE I HAD RAN OUT OF MONEY PUTTING THIS PROJECT TOGETHER, I WOULD LIKE TO SHOW AND PROVE THIS WAS MY WORK I STILL HAVE EVERYTHING. LET YOUR BOOK WORK TRUTHFULLY...........TRUTHFULLY LYN MOORE.

Last year we ran a mini Song Contest to find out whether the standard of songs would be better than that on offer at Eurovision. Our star was Ashley Benjamin and his song "Don't wait for me" is sensational. If you would like to hear it (and/or feature Ashley on your show) please get in touch. Regards Lucy London

I watch the programme most days, and always enjoy it. HOWEVER yesterday smug, bovine like Coleen really got on my nerves regarding the middle aged drinking talk. Good luck to Carol and Denise and long may they enjoy themselves, and provide us with a laugh and entertainment, they both have good careers, whereas, coleen? Maybe she should go home to Ray and the housework.

I saw Carole today (Thurs 6th March) say not to turn around if wolf whistled by builders. Tell her not to worry, but if concerned wear large sunglasses and comb fringe over her face. If that fails try a big bushy false beard.

    ....Only trying to help.

I am a staff nurse who watched the show on 6/3/08 when the women discussed Lord Mancrofts statements about nurses,I am sad to say he is speaking the truth. I had no choice lately but to whistleblow to protect patients safety, I was bullied and had to resign form my job. It is the first time I have not been working in 31yrs. Good nurses ar afraid to speak out for fear of losing their jobs, so they leave or keep their mouths shut. Yes there are good nurses who still see nursing as a vocation, however there are just as many who do not give a damn about the patients. We have lost the respect and disciplin within the profession. The training is totally inadequate, and we have lost the basics of Nursing care, I have completed both types of Nurse training, General (where I trained in a hospital ) and a Diploma in Mental Health Nursing at university. There was no comparison, when I trained in the hospital there was no such person as an Infection Contol Nurse, we did not need one, it was simple, if on the rare occasion there was cross infection it was simple, you were not doing your job propely. We used to be so stringent when changing dressing, Trolly was washed with antiseptic, we wore masks we took great care to ensure the risk of infection was minimised, now they just grab a dressing pack and put it on the patients bed, and the public wonder why infections such as MRSA and C-DIF are out of control, bad nuring practice is a hugh contributary factor, and its time this became a topic for debate, befor many more people die of hospital aquired infections. Get training back to the hospital, and more nurses please speak out. I have always loved my profession, and still have a passion for caring about patients, however like many of my colleagues we are sick of the way nursing practice is continualy deteriorating.

hi just want to say i love the show, and like colleen i lost my mum at christmas with alzheimers ,so its nice 2 laugh again thanks to the girls.thank you.

  • March 13th - 12:52amSHELAGH said...

I do so agree with all Carol said this morning about the Budget. BUT its all very well for pensioners to get a bit more fuel allowance, at christmas but why doesn`t the Government EVER give pensioners a bigger increase in their yearly pensions, like mothers get every year having children.

Companies increase workers salaries every year and mothers get LOADS more for having children, but pensioners only get a very tiny increase in April that does not cover Electricity,Gas Telephone food etc.for the year even though most of them have worked hard all their lives.

Hi. I love the show but think that you ladies really let the side down on Easter Monday. No wonder blokes take the micky! Why can't you learn to read a map. If you all drive cars any distance I should think that this was essential. I have been a widow now for the past twenty years with no wish for a partner, and if I hadn't learnt to read a map I would be stuck at home being a boring old woman. Even with a sat.nav. you need the back-up of a map. Heaven help you if you ever really get lost and the mobile phone has no signal. Now come on ladies get a grip. Learn to read a map - you can't be that dim.

Every week day I sky plus loose women..and really enjoy the show. Theres only two loose women I cant stand on the show and thats Zoe and Denese Welch. Zoe isnt on much...but Denese is on every day lately...and she really comes across as self obsessed and vain..plus she talks to her hubby Tim like dirt. Perhaps a new batch of loose women would inject some 'freshness' in the show. Having said that I love Carol McGiven...and Jane...they can stay on permanently.

We need some Black or asian or Mixed raced or Oriental loose women come on Loose Women!

Reflect the UK's population a bit more, like watching but it'd be nice if they included at least one woman that wasn't white on the show. Its 2008 for gods sake

I find Sinitta a bit quiet and boring to be on the panel of Loose Women. Does anyone know why Kaye Adams hasn't been back...even for a visit to the show? Also agree about Coleen Nolan. If she says about her 'Ray' one more time I shall scream!!

how about a prize entitled north meets south when a viewer joins carol & Jane on one of their infamous nights out!!!

Not only would it be a good night out for your viewer but an excellent discussion point.

My wife informed me of your show regarding the subject of "best before" and "Sell by" dates on items of food.

When we were first married our food costs were staggering and it wasn't until after about two years I realised why.

Every week when we done our shopping my wife would go into the kitchen and throw out all the tins of food left in the cupboard because, "well they are over a week old and we don't want to get upset stomachs".

    Beggers belief eh.
