Top chef Gary Rhodes stops off at Whitstable beach, where his barbecued fish goes down a treat with mayonnaise dips and hot and cold salsa. He visits his old catering college to whip up a mustard and leek crumble followed by jam and frangipane tart. Out of the heat of the kitchen Gary makes a day trip to Boulogne championing the cause of traditional British cheese.

Top chef Gary Rhodes continues his gastronomic journey, revisiting Scotland on the final leg. Soused mackerel with red peppers is the Glaswegian starter, complimented by grilled chicken with braised pearl barley. After serving lunch at a shipyard and an eventful Burns Night, Gary discovers Glasgow's favourite dish seems to be curry, and ends the programme on a high with home-made ice cream produced on the ski slopes of Aviemore.

Food magazine show in which celebrity chefs cook for members of the public using the freshest meat, fish and produce that Britain is famous for. The other stars of the show are the stallholders and local food producers who offer a tempting selection of delicious wares.
